Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care focuses on diagnosing and treating mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. It is based on the principle that the body can heal itself when the skeletal system is correctly aligned, and the nervous system is functioning properly. By adjusting the body's joints, Chiropractic care can improve your health, alleviate pain, and enhance your overall quality of life without the need for invasive treatments or medications.
A comprehensive exam is done at your first visit to understand what could be causing your discomfort. Adjustments will be done at the first visit, unless otherwise indicated.
Depending on the nature of your condition, your Chiropractor may utilize joint mobilization, muscle release techniques, and/or therapeutic exercises to relieve your pain and get you moving again.

Prenatal Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is for the whole family!
Chiropractic care can help prevent pregnancy pain and discomfort. As your baby grows, your body endures many changes. The body, especially your pelvis and lower back, is taking on more and more stress. Chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue work can help alleviate the discomfort, align the pelvis to give more room for your baby to grow and develop, and make pregnancy easier for you.
What if you aren’t in any pain? Even if you are experiencing a smooth, healthy pregnancy, Chiropractic care is still be beneficial. Regular adjustments can result in a more comfortable pregnancy overall and can also lead to decreased labor and delivery time.
Chiropractic care is absolutely safe and comfortable for pregnant women. There are no contraindications for getting adjusted while pregnant. It’s just as safe as it is for anyone else.

Diversified Adjustments
A Chiropractic adjustment is a highly-skilled and precise movement done by hand to the vertebrae of the spine and/or other joints of the body. This quick force is utilized to restore proper motion to the specific joints that are not moving optimally. Adjustments will also improve function to the joint and help to regulate the nervous system. When a joint is adjusted, a gas bubble may be released causing a popping noise, which is totally normal.

Flexion-Distraction
Using a specialized table, a low force technique is used to elicit motion into the joints, decompress the spine, and stretch the lower back musculature.
This helps to reduce pressure on the discs, nerves, and other structures in the back. This technique is gentle enough to be used for patients who have chronic pain or are recovering from a recent injury.
Flexion-distraction therapy is non-invasive and safe for even those with chronic pain and performed by a licensed chiropractor. It can help relieve various conditions, including herniated discs, degenerative disc conditions, Sciatica, and more. If you're experiencing back pain, talk to your doctor or chiropractor to see if this therapy may be right for you.

Activator
An activator is a handheld, spring loaded device used to deliver a specific and controlled force to the spine and other joints in the body.
It is commonly used as an alternative to spinal manipulation techniques to improve joint mobility. The activator is designed to provide a gentle and precise force to the targeted area. It is often used for patients who prefer a gentler approach or those with specific conditions that require more cautious treatment.
